Its funny how much we grow over the years. I remember when i first started playing this football . I was just a free spirited kid, who just happened to love sports. Throughout the years, it began to become more and more important to me to the point where it took over and guided my life. Ive grown to appreciate this game more and more each time i lace my cleats, strap up my helmet and step on to the field, whether its for a practice or a game. Ive learned to cherish every moment i have to play, cuz you never know when it could be your last time out there. I honestly dont know what i’d be doing if i didnt have football. The field is my sanctuary, where nothing else matters but the task at hand. Im in my own world, it feels like on like im on an island with just me and the person TRYING to stop me. I love seeing the fear in my opponents eyes, because he is afraid of what im bout to do, and when i do it I love the satisfaction of celebrating wit my teammates and going back at it again. Eventhough i hate to lose, knowing that i did my best and gave all I had is the most important thing. I love football, not just because im kinda good or its fun, but because there is no other sport where you can learn the type of life lessons that it holds. You learn to value the game, teamwork, perseverance, responsibility, and most important how to overcome adversity. I think this game has helped shape the person i am today, and it will always be my first love, whether im playing on sundays or just watching it on tv. I appreciate the gifts god gave me everyday, because i know it could have easily been someone else in my shoes or what i do have could be gon in a instant. I will never take it for granted, because no matter whats going on in my life, i know it will always be there for me to turn to. Whatever sport or craft you love, always respect it and give it everything you got, because you never know what tomorow holds.
